ESG at Weihigh
When you source polyester staple fiber, you need to know how the supplying factory manages energy, water and production impact. Our ESG work starts on the factory floor, where practical improvements can be measured.
The figures on this page are reported by individual factories, not as consolidated Weihigh Group totals. You can see the factory and reporting year beside each set of data, so you know what the figures cover.
Practical ESG Work, Not Broad Claims
You should be able to trace an environmental statement back to the factory and year it covers. We track energy, water and raw-material use, then work on emissions, wastewater and avoidable production loss.
Record factory data
Energy, water, emissions and waste are recorded at factory level. Site data stays separate until the reporting method and organizational boundary are aligned.
Work on the process
Equipment maintenance, process control, water reuse and energy monitoring are part of day-to-day factory management. Improvement is tracked over time, not claimed after one project.
Match claims to evidence
A certificate, test report and company statement are not the same thing. Before sharing a document, we check the factory, product scope, issue date and validity.
Have a supplier questionnaire or a product-specific ESG requirement? Send it to our team before placing the order.
Contact UsEnvironmental Data With Clear Site Boundaries
You can review the 2025 figures for Jinyi and Junye separately below. Keeping the sites apart gives your sourcing team a clearer view of the factory data behind an order.
Jinyi Factory
Reporting year: 2025
Junye Factory
Reporting year: 2025
Building one consistent reporting system
In 2026, we are working to align environmental data collection across all three factories. This will make it easier for you to review the same indicators and definitions across different supply sites.
The work covers reporting years, units, energy and water records, emissions calculations and factory responsibilities. New site data will be added as this process is completed.

Contact UsHow We Work on Environmental Impact
When you review our production sites, you will see different equipment and operating conditions. The direction is consistent: monitor resource use, improve efficiency and strengthen controls around water, waste and chemicals.
Monitor use and maintain equipment
Factories record energy consumption and review operating efficiency. Maintenance and process adjustments are used to reduce avoidable energy loss.
Treat and reuse water where practical
Jinyi combines physical, chemical and biological wastewater treatment. Junye records process-water reuse as part of its annual water management.
Separate records before making claims
Production loss, reusable fiber, general solid waste and hazardous waste are different streams. They need separate quantities and treatment records.
Use documents that match the material
Oil agents, additives and other chemicals are managed with safety data and sampling records. REACH-related statements are made only when the relevant test scope supports them.
Safe Work Needs Consistent Records
If your supplier review covers workplace practices, you can ask us about safety training, chemical handling and incident records for the relevant factory. We are also bringing these records into a more consistent group reporting method.
- Safety and energy-management training is recorded by the factory.
- Material Safety Data Sheets support chemical handling and storage.
- Factory records keep targets separate from completed results.
- Customer complaints are tracked through closure at the operating site.
- Group totals will be published only after definitions and boundaries match.
What Your Team Usually Needs
When you approve a supplier, a website introduction is rarely enough. You may need factory data, product reports, chemical information and documents tied to the actual order. Tell us your product, destination market, required standard and supplying factory, and we can confirm what applies.
The Next Step at Junye
If Junye is the factory supplying your order, these targets show where its 2026 environmental work is heading. They are annual targets, and the final results will be reviewed after the reporting year.
- Lower electricity use. The 2026 target is 21 million kWh, compared with 22.31 million kWh recorded in 2025.
- Improve energy intensity. Junye aims to reduce electricity use per tonne of product from 370 to 350 kWh.
- Reduce Scope 2 emissions. The factory’s 2026 target is 11,268 tCO₂e, down from 11,971 tCO₂e in 2025.
- Manage water carefully. Total water withdrawal is targeted at no more than 150,000 m³, supported by water circulation and equipment maintenance.
- Keep people involved. The factory plans to continue safety training, energy awareness and regular checks as part of its annual management work.
Questions Buyers Often Ask
Are the figures on this page Weihigh Group totals?
No. They are factory-reported figures for Jinyi and Junye. We do not present them as consolidated data for all three factories.
Does every polyester fiber product have the same environmental documents?
No. Document coverage can vary by product, factory, production period and test scope. Please confirm the exact grade and supplying factory.
Do all Weihigh products have REACH certification?
REACH is a regulatory framework, and product evidence may include testing or compliance documentation. We do not describe every product as “REACH certified.” The applicable report must be checked for the order.
Can Weihigh provide product carbon footprint data?
We do not make a blanket product-carbon-footprint claim. If carbon data is required, the product, factory, reporting boundary and calculation method must first be confirmed.
Can buyers request factory-level ESG information?
Yes. Tell us which product and factory are involved, as well as the documents required by your sourcing or audit team. Availability is confirmed case by case.
Need ESG Documents for Supplier Review?
Send us the product, destination market, required standard and audit checklist. We will confirm the documents that apply to the relevant factory and order.
